Ralph G. Del Negro, D.O.
The New Jersey team of LASIK surgeons at our Monmouth County practice is proud to be led by Ralph G. Del Negro, D.O. Dr. Del Negro graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania in 1982. He went on to earn his medical degree from the School of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he ranked in the top 5 percent of candidates on his medical boards. Dr. Del Negro completed his ophthalmology residency at Ohio University – Grandview Hospital, followed by a fellowship in glaucoma at the University of Louisville.
Ralph G. Del Negro, D.O. is a board certified eye physician and surgeon. He is highly skilled in LASIK and other forms of laser vision correction surgery. Dr. Del Negro is trained and experienced in an array of eye care techniques, including the most advanced microsurgical treatments for glaucoma, cataract surgery, and multifocal lens implantation. He performs laser procedures for eye diseases brought on by diabetes and vascular diseases.
Dr. Del Negro serves on the Board of Examiners for the Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and is a member of many ophthalmology societies.
Carl Senft, M.D.
Carl Senft, M.D. has been a practicing eye care physician since 1995 and is an integral part of our team of New Jersey cataract and LASIK surgeons at our Monmouth County practice. He is a graduate of Duke University and Columbia University, and received his doctorate in medicine from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his transitional medicine and ophthalmology residencies at the Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, followed by a cornea fellowship at the Louisiana State University Eye Center.
Dr. Senft is skilled in small incision, stitchless, topical anesthesia cataract surgery, as well as corneal transplantation and complicated anterior segment surgery. He is also trained and experienced in laser vision correction eye surgery, including LASIK and PRK.
Carl Senft, M.D. is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is board certified in ophthalmologic disease and surgery by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also an Associate Professor of Jersey Shore University Hospital.
David M. Wenz, O.D.
David M. Wenz, O.D. graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences, and received his Doctor of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry. He has extensive training and experience in fields such as ocular disease and trauma, pre- and post-operative cataract and LASIK care, contact lenses, and glaucoma management.
Dr. Wenz is a member of the American Optometric Association, as well as the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
